Dracaena fragrans ‘Lemon Lime‘
COMMON NAME: Dracaena fragrans ‘Lemon Lime‘
The Dracaena Lemon Lime stands out among its genus for its namesake neon yellow and green striped leaves, but much like the rest of its family its care is relatively straightforward. Capable of reaching heights of 5-7 feet indoors, it can also be kept to a tabletop size with regular pruning
LIGHT:Lemon lime plant light requirements are simple. They prefer plenty of bright indirect light to maintain their bright, vibrant color. Avoid the direct sun at all costs. Even though the perennial plant may perfectly thrive in low light, it is better to provide it with medium light.Too much direct sunlight may fade the leaves’ color while too little light may make the leaves thin and wrinkled
WATERING:Dracaena Lemon Lime plants are generally drought-resistant without strict water requirements. They do well with a low to moderate level of watering. Water the plant when the soil begins to dry out. Avoid overwatering to prevent the leaf tips of the plant from turning harsh resulting in brown leaf.Make sure to always use clean water, lacking harmful chemicals like chlorine and fluoride.
SOIL:Dracaenas prefer fast-draining soil combined with lava rocks. Loose, well-aerated soil also works best for this vibrant plant. The plant should be transplanted in spring or summer when it is actively growing. For repotting, choose a larger pot and fill it with potting mix
HUMIDITY:Does well at normal (about 40% – 60%) humidity levels
FERTILISER: Once a month, balance NPK: 20-20-20 , keep a few NPK particles in the water.
